Support and knowledge

First baby or third, my postpartum support is tailored to suit your needs. Need one day or a couple of weeks or months of daytime support? It's completely up to you, everyone is different and thats ok. I am taking Covid-19 seriously and have safety precautions in place and am happy to talk you through my protocols and how I keep myself safe for your family. Please note for twins price will be $5 extra an hour.  If you require additional lactation support then a consult fee will be added on.

Offering Support and sleep

Does your partner work crazy hours or are you just overwhelmed? Or do you just need some sleep or help with feeds during the night? A typical overnight shift starts at 10pm and ends at 6am but this can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Are you breastfeeding but still want sleep?  We can make this work, with my breastfeeding knowledge and training we can work on efficient night time feeds. If you require additional lactation support a consult fee will be added.  This is sometimes covered by insurance.

Here for You

Panning a home birth but you want to have the extra support of an IBCLC on call? I offer a package that includes a prenatal, on call for your birth (I will try to get to you within 6hrs), and a follow up when your milk comes in.  Don't want the prenatal and would prefer 2 follow ups after the birth - no problem you can switch them out.  If you are exclusively breastfeeding weight checks are a great way to know breastfeeding is going well!

Informative and Compassionate

I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal consults, my goal is to educate and give individualized information on birth and breastfeeding (or bottle feeding) to prepare you for your birth and the postpartum period.  I can go through what to buy what not to buy.  What to expect, especially in these trying times of Covid-19 and how to navigate it.  Then if you need support in the postpartum period you have established a relationship with me and know where to come for support if you need it.  This is consult is usually done through Zoom.
